Notice is hereby given pursuant to The Second Class Township Code that the Walker Township Supervisors shall conduct a hearing for enactment at their regular meeting on Monday December 2, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., an Ordinance allowing Accessory Solar Energy Systems (ASES) and Principal Solar Energy Systems (PSES) in the Township. A summary of the ordinance is set forth below. Ordinance Summary
The ordinance defines and distinguishes Accessory Solar Energy Systems and Principal Solar Energy Systems and regulations for both types of systems. The ordinance further sets forth limitations and requirements for roof mounted systems, wall mounted systems and ground mounted systems. The Ordinance will be effective five (5) days after enactment.
