Location

Walker Township is located in the central portion of Juniata County, in Central Pennsylvania, below the county seat of Mifflintown.

US Route 322 has long since replaced the Pennsylvania Canal and Pennsylvania RR as the primary
transportation routes through Walker Township, providing easy access to State College to the north and the State Capital of Harrisburg to the south.

The Juniata River provides scenic and recreational opportunities as do township parks in Mexico and near PA route 75.
